About Us

We’re T&P Automotive Service, and we’ve been an auto repair shop here in Yelm, WA, since 1985. We specialize in diagnostics, and we offer brake services, oil changes, engine repair, and more for all major makes and models. We started this business to serve the community around us, and we believe in putting in the effort on the little things to ensure satisfied customers at a competitive price. We’re looking forward to partnering with Thurston, King, and Pierce counties to continue to offer a premier mechanic experience. We’d like to personally invite you to stop by for transmission diagnostics, today! We sell rebuilt transmissions but do not rebuild them.

Efficient, effective, and accomodating I stopped by on a saturday morning to see if they could squeeze me in to locate a large oil leak, not only did the locate it but acquired and performed a valve gasket replacement before end of day so i could hit the road out of state. 900 miles and 12 hours later not a drop of oil lost. Thank you T&P so much for being able and willing to help me especially as a weekend walk in. You came highly recommended from friends and now i understand

Had a coolant leak that was not a radiator or hose. Repairs were done within three hours from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning even though a part had to be ordered. The shop picked me up when my car was finished within ten minutes. The cost was average but the work and service was above average. Communication was great, they even answer the phone. I try to use local shops and will use T&P again.
